Summer is coming - It's team building season in China!
Even though team building happens all year round, late spring and the summer months seem to be the busiest for us. This is a special time when we have to work hard to balance our resources to deliver the "ALTEC Magic" that our clients expect with each and every event.
ALTEC has many very special events, each of which are designed for different purposes.
Most of our events are about teams working through change to become more effective as a big team. This means the focus is not on any individual winning or losing, but rather how each individual or group contributes to the success of the overall team, and finding ways for each team member to bring their BEST efforts to the team.
To keep the participants engaged, ALTEC goes out of our way to ensure that the event is FUN! This is a key ingredient when engaging people in any endeavor. Fun with a learning purpose creates a strong link and bond that participants remember for a very long time.
Outdoor events are very popular this time of year. ALTEC can travel to any venue you wish, and design and deliver the perfect, magic team building event that will amaze you and your team.
Some of our most popular outdoor events include:
Turf War: A zero-sum game frame where groups exchange resources by shooting water balloons at each other, or not. Extremely fun event that helps beat the summer heat!
HST Express: Team works to construct a light railway transit system to handle heavy traffic. This event requires total engagement from ALL team members to be successful. Based on the Mexican Railway.
Amazing Race: Groups must assemble and accessorize a bamboo sedan chair, which they must then assist the TEAM in transporting a substance (certain amount) to a different location within the allotted time. It's a race against time as groups work at a frantic rate to accomplish the Team task.
Dooly Design Team: Groups must assemble a bamboo sedan chair and accessorize it according to customer specifications. Each group receives a different order, and in fulfilling each order, they must "listen to the voice of the customer". The crucial moment comes when the customer decides to buy or not. This event is much less physically demanding than the Amazing Race, and is preferred by many clients.
